Ben’s Kosher Delicatessen is a well-known restaurant & caterers in NY. This longtime kosher deli chain serves entrees, sandwiches, soups & sides. A leading mobility equipment supplier in the U.S., DAY Elevator & Lift assisted this restaurant to successfully address two major mobility challenges they had in their building.
The Challenge
The food service and hospitality industries require quality mobility solutions that can help them serve their customers better. Ben’s Kosher Delicatessen faced two major mobility issues such as-
- Deliveries – basement area
- ADA Accessibility storage to second floor dining area
The Solution
Being an authorized dealer, DAY is experienced in offering a wide range of cost-effective new and used mobility products that exactly meet the customer’s requirement. For this particular client, our team installed two different products to suit their needs. Solutions offered are –
- Material Lift with roll up door to loading to address the first issue
- V-1504 Vertical Platform Lift in hoistway to address the second challenge. The lift travels up and down a rail system enclosed in the lift tower. The tower is supported with attachment to an existing wall or through a constructed hoistway.
